Getting a bit rather fed up of looking in classifieds on here and finding adds a year or more out of date !!!!

Is it not possible to put a time limit for adverts. Say 2 months before an advertiser needs to UPDATE the item as being sold (and removed from here) or still available !!!!

I tried when i sold it but even though I deleted it from my account it still was in the classified. Not been on there for a few years now to see if things have been updated to make removing an add easier

the ad was deleted from my account, so I could not edit it. But still appeared in the listings. Not been able to access my account for a while, but just tried and got in ok.

My thoughts......If you have an ad and someone buys it so it's gone.....Shouldn't you then remove the ad?
Seems like a simple solution.

No good moaning if you've sold what you've listed and then simply not been bothered to log in and remove the ad or put SOLD on it.

here is an idea ?

how about those that use this FREE service bother to manage their FREE advert and mark it as sold when it’s no longer available ?

It’s not like we are busy or anything and you see much as we like to do things for people our telepathic ability in knowing when stuff sells is not working well

TFF will be setting up a FREE arse wiping service next year for those that can’t be bothered to wipe their own

as I said in my previous post, I deleted the ad when it was sold, but it still appeared in the classified Section. As it had been deleted from my account I could not edit the ad to put sold on it.

anyone moaning will be banned from FREE classifieds for life and they can feck off to FWi and pay them lots of money for a fantastic arse wiping service instead on a website with a fraction of the visitors

here endeth my customer service announcement!
It wasnt a moan. I was replying to the original post shearing me experiences of what had happened. I was hoping it would be seen as constructive if read by any of the forum staff.
