To be honest I would have said the opposite! Over the years I’ve picked up some excellent ideas from this forum to save time and money, and then there’s the supplies I’ve found from various parts of the country who have done me some great deals.

However I will agree the new toy thread is a dangerous place to spend any length of time 😂

I agree, for some strange reason I’m thinking I need a 3/4 Milwaukee impact gun when realistically all I need is a new 3/4 air impact gun for 1/3 of the price. If I’d not seen the thread on here I’d definitely not be thinking this.

Or maybe a longer piece of steel tube to fit over the exisiting 3/4 socket wrench... :)

Do you not know how much steel is🙈

I will find a you a piece of premium steel tube, spraypainted with quality Hammerite, complete with high grip insulation tape at the end, for just 25% of the price of the Milwaukee offering.

My torque multiplier tool also comes with a 5year RTB warranty, and a lifetime warranty on the power supply source :)

I joined this wonderful forum at the end of last year. What a great place it is, the only downside is that I have bought far more kit that ‘I never knew I needed’ than ever before. Am I alone or do others suffer from this syndrome? 🤣
Once you've been on here long enough you'll find you've reached 'the point of equalibrium'.

You'll stop spending money on kit you didn't know you wanted because (like the rest of us) you've just run out of cash

Hate to tell you this, but the power source is the one thing you can be certain will peak after a few years and slowly wain. Itcan be sorted though by purchasing a longer piece of steel tube 😀
However this only works for a certain time till the power finally fails completely, sadly there is no option for a refund☹️

Hence the "Lifetime" warranty. The T&C will specify that the warranty is provided to the original purchaser only, and suitable maintenance must be carried out on the power source...

I will allow you the marketing rights for a new and improved "Torque MultiplyingTool", nothing to pay either, just a service for our ageing clients ;)

I fear that the tube may get used for something it’s not designed for tho, or get chopped and welded to something if it’s sat in the workshop to long.

Which is no way to treat a high performance crafted tool, I must say.... ;)

This is why the Milwaukee is the only tool I need. It cannot be welded to anything but thinking about it it may be used as a axle stand or a wheel chock.

Only 1 little purchase that probably wouldn't have happened without a bit of TFF :nailbiting:

Are you establishing the National Drill Collection?
And asking for a friend:); do you not think that although the slots will close better, the angled discs will cause more soil disturbance than say a JD750, although that may be what you want to achieve?

Na you need a 1 inch airgun probably cheaper than its 3/4 drive equivalent.

Not even TFF can get my wallet open, its my fault we've got these new plastic £10 notes. The old ones used to go damp and mouldy because of the time I keep them and if anyone finds a note with the Queen wearing sunglasses that'll be one of mine (not used to being out in bright light)

Take it steady and I can’t see where I’ve been from the cab. It’s ( imho ) far superior to the 750a ( I’ve had both in farm ) 😎
It’s also the only drill I have now ( apart from the KRM, but that’s still in project/for sale phase )

Excellent, glad you have found the one that suits your system.
Theoretically the angled disc should be superior seed covering etc, but interested how it actually is in practice. The failing with 750, what little knowledge I have gleaned from seeing work done, is poorly sealed slots in heavier wetter conditions.
