What about it mods ? How about having a directory of where tff members can list their holiday cottage ,/b and b , campsites enterprises so we can plan our holidays and keep supporting each other . Nothing worse than finding out after that you could of stayed at x place when you have ended up staying in a town .

  4. yes sounds good, will be looking for places to stay next year around the country,
but would it be possible to have an area type map, or listings by country, or would that take up to much time

Ok - how about this ?

We will create a Holiday cottage / camp site / farm B&B section to the directory pages

Any TFF member with a campsite or holiday cottage can add theirs to it for free in exchange for the points that member get for posting and likes etc - let's say 99pts for a free listing ? that keeps it a reward for member that contribute to TFF and not just a free for all ?

If your unsure how to apply for a directory listing the form is here https://thefarmingforum.co.uk/index.php?pages/company-page/

see this new option at from bottom to cash in TFF points

Once created you can add pictures and details of offers / availability as you wish

TFF Googles extremely well so a directory listing would be a very good move for anyone looking to increase the search engine ranking of their website of business

  15. Is it possible to get them to fill in a box with the county on the listing, then display the county on the listing

At the moment, the directory is divided up by region. To start with I'd suggest selecting the right region and then putting county in the title to make it easy to search. We do have some functionality for pre-headers to threads, but we would have to look at how to configure it as we would need to preload all the counties I think.

  19. Yes that sounds good, and the above looks good,
just dont think people will look at the listings, if they are all lumped under 1 heading, but area would be good

    thanks

You can view by region as well.
