I don't want to be rude as it was free, but it perhaps wasn't the highest quality bodywarmer when it arrived, let alone months later.

But needs must, modern media waits for no man!

I seem to remember you were a damned good sport digging it out (& ironing it) for the occasion. More importantly, you got the more important message across very well.(y)

Very kind.

Interestingly I see NFU poultry are now running media training workshops for farmers on their 'Poultry Industry Future Leaders Programme'.

They haven't asked me to run the course for them though which is bloody rude, I had a tot up of my resumè over the last couple of years and its:

BBC Breakfast live in the studio.

BBC today programme interview with Justin Webb.

BBC Radio 5 breakfast live with Nicky Campbell.

BBC Look East, 3 times now i think. Pre-record.

ITV Anglia twice. Pre-record.

I may be an arrogant sod but I bet that makes me more qualified than the people they paid to run the training!!

My takeaway message would be try and do it live if you can, its more nerve wracking, but with a pre-record however well you articulate a point they will always cut it down to the least relevant 20 seconds.
