think a zeteor can have its rear axel turned to give a bit more height,

Machines get a fortune spent on them maintenance ....... hoping to reduce the cost with a newer machine. How would we stop or try an stop cylinder glazing?

In that machine you should use an old TOU oil as opposed to STOU in the engine especially with light work. They were designed for it and don't appreciate a good oil especially synthetic. The engines had to use crap oil they had in the old Soviet bloc and the 5000 HR service was new pistons and liners which in the early days came with the machine.
