I know this place, belongs to a friend. It has huge opportunities and if you like to be remote, this is it. Most of this farm you cannot see a soul, the only sound is bird song, At the same time it is close to Doncaster
Close enough to Robin Hood airport to nip round and show them how to set a topper up? ;)

I dream of a ring fenced farm were you never have to venture onto a public road, just drive stock on foot from field to field, or never meet a car in the combine down a single track lane. If it wasn't for the railway here it would be grand, it splits us in half and means a 3-4 mile round trip round by the road with anything wider then the little gated crossing, can't really complain though as the railway was here before us

Yes, my family used to farm around there in the 1700s to early 1900s. Ideally, I would prefer to be up near Crowle. I like the bleakness. And dislike hills.

I always look at farms up in Scotland, not sure that I'd move from here to be honest, but somewhere remote with no phone signal, a few mountains to look at, a river and some shooting to be had would be my idea of bliss!! I think as time goes by the more remote places will become more desirable as people strive for a bit of peace and quiet!!
3 big farms in this area over £ 7m sold to southern englishmen recently.

If it wasn't for the wife and kids I'd be away tomorrow. As long as I have a phone and internet to do my job, the more remote the better.
