This last sentence sums it up, i think that's the scariest thing, I don't know anyone that's had it but talking to a neighbour, only 28, knows two lads of a similar age that have topped themselves as lockdown was the last straw on the camels back, and that really knocked me,how many more will there be
My wifes friends brother. Had a bit history.Lockdown was the last straw.

Our stats have sick-bias, as only people with symptoms are tested properly.

To balance it, I report every day. I started when I had symptoms and I continue reporting since I shook it off.

The data goes to Kings College and NHS!

Help slow the spread of #COVID19 and identify at risk cases sooner by self-reporting your symptoms daily, even if you feel well [emoji120].

My Landlord came to Kenya from Italy at the end of February infected his Farm Manager his cattle manager and about ten in the office all had very bad flu like symptoms one spent a night in hospital. My wife had a meeting with him and came down with something similar for several days but worked through it. I was sick for a day but again worked through. No testing here but we are pretty sure it was CV 19.

He does now! :)

Donated plasma last week as part of the Convalescent Plasma Trial and it gets tested........... I had it.

I have a "high" antibody count and they would like me in fortnightly for plasma donation.

Is there any indication when there will be tests available for the rest of us that "think" we had it!?

Personally I would pay for the test.

There are antibody test kits for sale online. Mostly the ones rejected by the NHS as they were crap.
There should be an NHS test being rolled out over the next 2 weeks............. or become a plasma donor! ;-)

I used to donate blood. I'm on blood thinners after having a stroke while ill with flu like symptoms in January. Not sure if they'd still want my blood.?

This will sound stupid but the reason I started giving blood was to check if I had anything!

When i worked in Kenya my boss had landlords ...... they arrived in Kenya Airforce choppers or blacked out 4X4 limos with outriders.....bunch of crooks.
Mine is an Italian industrialist whose family bought the place in the late fifties to hunt things. There's no hunting today so we grow veg on some of it. As for your suggestion that Kenyan politicians may be corrupt. I would disagree they are hard working people with the interests of the poor at heart.......... O.K they're are the biggest bunch of thieves out.

Would you say you are fully over it? Missus reports she finds herself slightly breathless easier after having. She'd no issues beforehand.

Has your wife tested positive for cv19?

Apologies if you have already said earlier, can't be bothered reading all thread again.

No they weren't offered tests at that time.

It's all swept under the carpet.. She was put down as having worked the shifts she would of done if she had of been well. No record.

The ward did a Covid risk assessment yesterday the 26th.
