The angry country

just showing what a really angry country it is

I’m not sure you are though - what’s your reason for spreading unsubstantiated stuff anyway? I’ve spent a fair bit of time in Paris and it has always had protests - just like most capital cities - and is certainly not reflective of an “angry country”.

Your obsession with this subject comes across to me as just stirring, I have to say.

I’ve never been to central London without seeing a demonstration of some sort.

All the reports refer to Paris. France is a big country, even the French don’t think much of Parisians ?
Or the Quebecois who also dislike Parisians & many other French - good thing we love all Yanks. :)

It's certainly a quiet country today!
Things alright for you down there?

Perhaps they just don't want you there, do the demonstrations stop when you leave?

?? I hadn’t thought of that. I certainly never want to be there. I really can’t understand why people want to live in cities. I feel much more comfortable out on a moor as long as it’s not Broadmoor.?

Thanks for asking @Dan
There is a very nervous/stressful vibe today.
Not pleasant at all actually :-(
I thought that might be the case; but chin up, things in life are rarely as good or bad as one anticipates.

We'll be in a similar situation in time... and my guess is that, there and here, once people get their heads around the restrictions and once they realise that they will almost certainly be fine, things will settle somewhat. Most humans don't like change / unfamiliar situations but, after a chance to get used to them, they will adapt well enough.

The b^gger is, there is going to be no excuse whatsoever for putting off any number of crap jobs that need doing. Mrs Danllan has 'a list', which I am yet to see... :nailbiting:
