spring beans finished today, 2.1t /ac so happy enough. On drying floor so no dramas.
Harvest all wrapped up, now the sowing will start again (well already done osr)

I hate beans but it's all about the following wheat. Rather have them hacked down and the next crop in the ground.

Heard a listener on Sarah cox show last night, saying they were combing the last of their spring barley in north Shropshire .
Seems very late unless it was drilled in May .

Finished tonight in the Spring beans,think they have done around 2t/ac,so happy to have finished.

Had a bit of help in penultimate field, 41' MacDon,what a weapon,incredible header.

Much drier underground though and looks better here after the next 10ish days so will see where it ends up

Maybe this year but I would say people have got lucky with sept weather this year for spring beans
