As so few posts about sightings of Cuckoo’s this year, the future looks bleak for them. I haven’t heard one for many years now at just north of Cirencester.

I heard my first yesterday, only saw the first swallow last week!

Cuckoo heard every morning for a week or so, and from different directions so suspect more than one!
Still only seen one solitary swallow which didnt hang around though..

Gosh, I hadn't realised until now, I've not heard one yet.

I heard one in an evening one day last week and had to ask my son if it was really there - It happened again so we were both really pleased 'cos it must be 5 years since the last time --- Then we realised it was on the telly in the background of "Gentleman Jack" ......!

Magic,after a long wait this year "finally" heard the cuckoo for the first time,in the usual spot on the north norfolk coast.

We have not heard a cuckoo down here for maybe 14years ,we had a strange bird which was cockoo size sing a strange song early in the morning in June .. not heard of it since
