Does the 5465 have the bigger rams on? I can’t remember the sizes off hand but ours originally had the smaller ones fitted, I want to say 65mm and you can swap them fit the bigger ones off say a 6480 etc, I’m pretty sure it was 10mm in diameter bigger but made it lift over a ton more. Ours was the older shape with top link sensing they may have fitted the bigger ones later as standard however 🤷🏻‍♂️.
Mine is the old shape. Dont know what rams is on it. If measurin the rams do i measure the piston or the tube?

Measure the outer cylinder, the smaller ones visually look to have quite a bit of space round them when you lower the linkage, as in cylinder to back end casting where as the bigger ones are considerably tighter.

Just looked in manual and it adds an extra ton of lift so from 5 ton to 6 ton. Although ours does lift slower as it needs more oil to fill the cylinder, it’s definitely not the quickest hydraulics system on that model..

Giving the but in the middle a whirl
It'll not happen often with me but credit where it's due it surprised both of us on fuel consumption.

Not totally accurate but it was using 20-25 litres per hour couldn't get a proper figure as it wasn't full when it came and they wanted it back at the same level. But definitely better than our 79 would be .

I took it back yesterday and it feels very high and has little turning circle compared to the American built tractors but all in all it was decent enough

is it just the photo or is the massey cab really just a chicken coop?

:ROFLMAO: it's not very big no!

Used to have several of those in our fleet, 2 8480s a 70 and an 8450. Yours looks well cared for. How many hours

Just under 5000, 2007 build. Was brought as cheap hp for the baler, doesn't do much the rest of the year.
