This is where the argument of changing every 5-6 year’s rather than every 10 comes into its own a bit.
To change a 10+ year tractor to a brand new one isn’t doable anymore.

Maybe, I'm not quite so keen on the idea as I used to be as you just seem to be permanently paying for a tractor. Then there's various implements that need changing as you go.

We're still seeing where our business is going at the moment hence keeping the oldest one we have now (10yr old, 8k+ hrs). However obviously one day we will probably want to change it, but the cost to change even now I'm sure would be 70k+. 2nd hand isn't an option for us, ex demo, maybe, but highly unlikely to be to the spec we would want....

🤷‍♂️ 😅

Kuhn striger strip till demo in some fairly extreme conditions.

Did a good job, certainly the best of the ones we've seen.

Umm, isn't that pipe supposed to lead somewhere......?
Indeed, if we were actually planting something rather than doing a quick run to see if the machine could actually produce a clean strip. Hopper already on the tractor and a convenient front weight 👍.

Possibly I should have provided a little more context to the orinigal post!
