The Digger Picture Thread

I used to do my fair share years ago when the wheeled diggers were 50B's or 3CX's then the boss man went and replaced the 3CX with a new one with the curved windows in the cabs, all went to pot then as it distorted my eye lines. My excuse and I'm sticking with it

Like those bloody cars fitted with wing mirrors with wide angle edges :scratchhead: they make it impossible for me to reverse accurately using the mirrors as the perspective keeps changing depending on which part of the mirror is in use :banghead:

How is the dump trailer attached to the low loader, is it tied on to the quick hitch on the digger?
pretty sure it was just a big shackle on the quick hitch, a big shackle through the eye of the trailer and a short bit of chain in between.

I have two brothers work for me and digger driving must be in there bloody, can get it within an inch just by rack of eye, then perfect if someone's on laser, don't need to take stone out with them two

The lad that does our 360 work is like that, when we done the last new silage pit the area had been made up with subsoil, it had been dumped and roughly levelled with our loading shovel, asked him to roughly scrape it off to give us an idea of levels, told him the height in one corner and the fall in 2 directions, he scraped the whole 45 x 36 metre siteto within an inch with no laser

You must do some real deep excavation work with that 30 ton machine
Aye she's a fair beast of a thing! I love it:sneaky::sneaky: Think that time it was being moved to load a dung spreader quickest way to load one ever:LOL: Its done a fair bit of time on rent to a quarry with a pecker along with his crusher.(y)
Done some excavation to though, his aim is to open his own quarry for private use but with all the kit out on rent to a quarry so he's getting cheap stone and the checks coming it I cant see it happening anytime soon:LOL:

Yep that's it had to do the seals on our kubouta this year but that was only creeping slowly but if the piston comes unscrewed of the rod it can let oil leak past it quite bad
worth checking the ram asap as the piston could be coming undone and will cause damage if left ,it will be the cheapest place to start with a set of seals and a couple of hours labour
