If you don’t mind me asking. Why re seed in the spring, rather than autumn. Seems like you can easily loose a whole season with a spring re seed.
I've been trying to reseed that land for 3 years . Its peat over blue clay . Done a lot of drainage work on it , but after June last year just gave up due to the weather it lies we over the winter so new seed would probably drown . The other two , one had spuds in the other winter rape

4 years ago my dairy grazer refused to sow fertiliser on these fields. To poor to warrant it . . I drive down the hedge every day now gives me so much joy to see it

Yes we seem to be stuck between the rain from the north and coming up from the south. No mans land
Same here in Herefordshire. The forecasted wet week has so far produced nothing. And the East wind today is sapping the last breath out of crops.
Why is it we get every storm going in a wet time but during a drought we can't even buy a shower.

Same here east of Hereford all of 0 nothing
