Sorry to hear of your decision but quite understand it . I took the same decision around 18 months ago having got to 55 without serious injury[apart from one incident] but some lucky escapes , having done sheds off and on since I was 22 . As others have said, will miss your photos and advice but good luck with your future and keep in touch on TFF.

Very sorry to hear about your problems - best of luck in what you decide to do next, I'm sure you'll make a success of it.

From what we've seen on here, it was all great work - although I do remember you building a sh!t shed for @Gator :bag::bag::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:................

.............maybe it was just a sh!t shed 'cos that's what he keeps in it :giggle::giggle:

Good luck with the future. Sorry to hear about the back - I fell off a shed roof about 8 years ago and I'm very very lucky I didn't get injured worse although I did break my sacrum.

They say to alleviate back pain try to sit down as little as possible and walk plenty. I'm only saying this as with your new job if you are doing lots of driving or sitting in front of computer really try hard to make sure you can improve your back. I recommend weights too - even if you think your back can't handle it (obvs get special advice) but very often pain in one part of the back is because its carrying extra effort or twists in another area - get it working!
