The end of the road

One other question, what you doing with the collection of millwalkie tools ?
Asking for a friend :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

Im going to put them on a shelf next to my bed

Good luck with the future. Sorry to hear about the back - I fell off a shed roof about 8 years ago and I'm very very lucky I didn't get injured worse although I did break my sacrum.

They say to alleviate back pain try to sit down as little as possible and walk plenty. I'm only saying this as with your new job if you are doing lots of driving or sitting in front of computer really try hard to make sure you can improve your back. I recommend weights too - even if you think your back can't handle it (obvs get special advice) but very often pain in one part of the back is because its carrying extra effort or twists in another area - get it working!

I don’t find driving so bad to be honest. Watching tv is the worst because you tend to slouch. It isn’t all sitting and driving with my job, there’ll be a lot of walking around sites.
yes I go to a fancy physio and he has me doing weighs and all sorts.

Don't know you, but I always enjoyed your posts on here, looked like you did good work and would have been a great leader to work with. You're making a good decision,take care of yourself

It's not the end of the road, you've came to a fork in the road
All the best

yeah I realised after that end of the road was wrong. It’s a new adventure and I’m excited for the new challenge

Jaysus, you should play the lottery. I've met people who broke their back/neck from only a 9 feet fall. You are lucky to be alive man.

when I was in my ward in hospital there was a guy in a bed opposite me tripped up three steps from the bottom of his stairs, he’d never walk again ?

I just looked like this for a few days

When you posted the picture of that idiot who wouldn't move his car and you boxed him in with the pipe channels I almost pi$$Ed myself! Probably the best post I've seen on the TFF!!

Your showing maturity for taking the hard decision to stop a job you love and are clearly good at.

Old boy once told me "don't look back with regret, just look forward with fond memories"

All the best!
