As a Christmas gift my family paid the subscription to FG for me. Still no FG or even the toy tractor, anybody else facing similar problems ? Even a couple of telephone calls have produced no results, but monies have been withdrawn from the account in question.

We used to subscribe to the FG and it was supposed to come on a Friday but it got so often it didn't turn up until Monday.
When they wanted to put the price up I tried to do a deal with the bloke that rang up, arguing that I shouldn't pay full price for old news.
He wasn't having any of it so he lost a sale.

Just an update; The FG has now started to arrive usually on a Saturday. The toy tractor that was supposed to be part of the package has still NOT arrived, not very impressed with the mag as it seems to be around 80% advertising. It still has a very northern bias for us arable folk in Norfolk.

If you're having problems with your delivery/account please call 0330 333 0056 and the customer service team will be able to look at your account and ensure everything is ok. If you're struggling to get through it's probably best to avoid the usual busy times of day but they'll be able to resolve your query easily. If you don't have time to call them simply email [email protected]-guardian.com I'm sure your problem can be easily resolved.

Kind regards ,

Team FG

I can tell you it does not take them long to stop your account when you stop subscribing.
Seems it takes longer to get you on the system than off it.

When I was "home" for Christmas and basically idling about I thought I would enjoy reading whilst partaking of my son's ample stocks of whisky.

I spent about 5 mins looking at both FG and FW in a shop, some "country" magazines too. I was well down England - Derbyshire, so no Scottish Farmer to compare. I decided neither FG or FW were worth the money. I accept that adverts are necessary to enable such small circulation magazines to survive, but I want to see a reasonable amount of articles too. I felt neither had sufficient to warrant buying the magazine.

The non-ag magazines were better, but the prices were too high to prise my money out of my pocket.

Mmmmm.
Cancelled sub. When Ali Driver left.

But missed the weekly crossword  and was tempted by £1 off each issue offer which ends - note ENDS - at midnight tonight. Tried to fill in the form and it comes up ‘offer now ended’.
Thanks a bunch. I know the clocks were altered but it was 9.15 not berluddy midnight.
