Very tidy work nacnud. I am intrigued by the fence with two hot top wires. It seems like overkill - do you find it necessary withstock both sides ?

Tidy, it's worth having a bit of 4mm mild for that job. Thicker wire and more galv so will last a bit longer in the ground.Yeah, with the rockspike. I didnt actually drive it the way that photo is taken I drove it with the flat side to the post after a re-think

I tend to keep 'under ground' tie backs over ground unless unless they're going to be in the way. And use three wraps of 2.5mm ht.Yeah definitely, also for underground tie backs and the like!
i had issue with the wire snapping where the knot is. infact when you remove the knot you can see an indentation in the line wire that is where the wire snaps. i know of another guy that will never use it again due to it always snapping, it does pull nicely though and as long as you are careful where you twist wire for knots you should be ok
