How do you get on with the t bar gripples for the strainer posts? do they keep the wire as tight as tying off method?

I've used a few of these, I find them ok, they are especially useful for the bottom wire where it can be very fiddly to tie off.

Although with a tie-off tool you can make a tidier tighter join.

Yes they keep it tight and saves your fingers too. As andy says, good on the bottom wires.

Maybe but it is a 7" x 8' post, i don't think it's going anywhere.

T clips are very good for stock fencing and especially for horse netting

Yes they keep it tight and saves your fingers too. As andy says, good on the bottom wires.

And for strainers right back in a thorny hedge. Not cheap though.
