A lot of doom & gloom on here at the moment...

So here’s a drone picture of our local young farmers who assembled 122 tractors on the 29th Dec for a tractor run. They have raised £10,000 and counting for Southampton Hospital’s intensive care unit.

Crowds were 5 deep in places with onlookers cheering in Romsey & Winchester

Not sure its doom and gloom , just a frank discussion. Yes there are many farmers making money but there are also ones through a range of circumstances that are not. Why struggle on with the worry when their farms are worth so much and they can have a far improved life doing something else. Well done to those young farmers i hope they all make it but in reality some won't and while they are out driving dads tractor he could be at home worried to death. How many in the picture would be on finance? 70-80% i would guess. For some the futures bright, for others its bleak, ignoring facts won't help, be pro active.

Why did they not take them through the local city! Like the French and German's,Dutch and others!! That would have been fun!!

They drove through Winchester. Was down visiting the in-laws and popped into town. Had to watch them for 15 minutes to keep my boys happy. It’s not like he doesn’t see enough tractors at home.
