The EU hasn't threatened anyone, they have merely stated if you want a deal with the Union, these are the terms with in reason, take them or leave them. And they have been pretty consistent from the start. They are not going to jeopardise the coherence of the remaining 27 counties by pandering to the whims and fancies of what they see as a dysfunctional Conservative government.

That is a threat, to which Boris has stood up to and running with the peoples vote (like it or not), and now they have started to mellow a bit because of that stance from Boris.

Also - not just Conservatives, they're all a shambles without question, and are not working for the country, only their own paycheck.

Still, we need to Brexit as that is what the vote wanted, and all the none voters can jog on imho, as if their too bloody lazy to vote - you take what comes.

And as for coherence of the 27 nations ?, they're waiting to see what we do - then the domino effect will kick in.

If the EU wants to remain, it needs to realise we do matter - and as such should be listened to, not shut in the cupboard.

Do you honestly believe that ?

Our EU contribution is the same as the bottom 17 Countries combined, (which includes Ireland) and a no-deal Brexit is not good for anyone, however neither are the terms on offer.

Many jobs may be at stake in Germany and Ireland if the terms agreed are not mutual and agreeable, would you accept take it or leave it ?

The UK is not Latvia, Luxembourg, Estonia, Lithuania plus many others that pay in less than 0.5% of the EU budget and take much, much more out, we are the UK that pays 12%, the third highest, below France and Germany and take much less out.

The EU will make everyone's life difficult if they decide to cut their nose off to spite their face.

They need to shed the baggage of bitterness and resentment and get on in the interests of all the EU members, not just a few Eurocrats.

Whether you are a leaver or remainer, we should all press for the best deal possible and not take no for an answer, god knows enough time has already been wasted. The only people likely to jeopardise anything is us....

On the basis that Corbyn and McDonnel will wreck the country and be bad for anybody that owns anything: Brexit would be just that with no deal and no other policies; Lib Dems are not really electable and full of MPs who have nowhere else to go; Boris needs to prove himself, and my sitting tory MP needs some education on rural matters - I vote SNP. Now the oil's run out the wingeing Scots have nothing to offer other than a money pit, it would be better for us if they were on their own. Let the EU bale them out.
I wonder if there will be a candidate in my part of the world.
If corbyn goes someday mcdonnel will be the next leader

Wedgewood Benn was as close to a Communist as you could get,and would have nationalised all farmland at the drop of a hat if he had ever got into power! He,along with Barbara Castle absolutely despised farmers, believing that we were all whinging feather bedded Tory voting entitled scum!
