Boris is not ignoring democracy. He is doing what 17.4 million voters instructed the government to do. Its the likes of you with comments like that, who is against democracy.

Oh how very Brexiteer of you. I don't disagree that we should be leaving the EU, as was the will of the voters of a slim majority in the referendum, but in an orderly fashion. However, it appalls me that Boris and his populist chums feel that they can bypass the parliamentary democracy that is a cornerstone of our constitution.
I dare say that I'm not alone in that, and he will pay at the ballot box.

But after 3 years of master debating, how much more time do they need ? This needs sorting one way or another sharpish. Another 3 years of master debating, and we really will be a laughing stock.

Why do people who lose something always over egg a small margin victory as something of little worth???

You would never do that if you won a million by a slim margin, so just get over it and deal with the fact a majority voted to leave..

You lost the majority, just live with the fact.... And get on with it.

There is no parliamentary democracy any longer - Comrad C, the back Wenchers, the Turn Coats etc have well and truly put pay to it.

Parliament and Politics are dead for a while to come, none of them have had the countries best interests to heart - only their own paychecks.

Nobody in their right mind can surely believe that a no-deal crash out is in anybody's interests, least of all anyone involved in a sheep industry that is hardly profitable at the best of times?

If there's a reduction in food imports I cannot see how UK ag doesn't benefit .

Where have they said this? Can you direct me to who
suggested this pls.
If anything looks like more red meat heading
here than at present through trade deals with USA on beef
and a sympathetic trading relationship with NZ on lamb.

Tarrifs on USA beef?
UK taking on the bigger proportion of NZ lamb quota from the EU.

I like positive thinking but reality has to set in sometimes.
You tell lies then.

No deal in place with the US .
And I've no idea where you got the NZ lamb idea from , we won't be part of the EU .
