For those of us who are opposed to Brexit in any form, its a very easy decision to make. ( but don't worry, my vote doesn't count, a safe Tory seat mores the pity )
I don't expect you to agree though!
You need to accept the result , vote Tory in with huge majority get brexit done and next election vote who you want, it’s needs done out the way for a better future other wise it will dominate everything for lots of years

Conservative for me.
If BJ delivers Brexit on the 31st October, which is looking increasingly likely, then that wipes out the Brexit party.
Labour? Really????
Lib Dems......... cancel Brexit? Well done, great move.............. just wiped out 17.4 million voters.
Greens/SNP et al .... won`t be standing in my area.

The truth of the matter is that we all only voted on our gut feeling. No-one knew the implications of leaving and we still don't. Another referendum would be voted on in a similar manner. We should leave and give it a go it may be best thing that ever happened.
I do agree with your first statement, we who had a brain all voted on our gut feeling, but would say the opposite could be true on the second, those who voted stay were the ones who didn't know the implications of staying, all I have spoken too about it said when they voted to leave voted with the intention of out meaning out, not dependant on what deal, they assumed the deal part was purely for those who voted stay.

I would say that coming out will mean that it will still dominate everything for years to come: Negotiating trade deals, setting up institutions etc. I think the 'clean break' theory is a fallacy.

I tend to agree but a vote needs to be cast as if comrade c gets in we will see just how bad they actually can be , a few bad decisions and uk reduced to 3rd word in weeks

Corbyn isn't a viable option as we well know. He isn't any kind of full picnic politician, he has no clue about the modern world and has (historically at least) very dubious beliefs of how the world works. I can (almost if I squint) sympathise with some aspects of his political prism but certainly not all. McDonnell I see as a dangerous character.

Not sure what sort of Brexit the Tories have planned for us. I accept that you may not care too much though :)

We can agree that Brexit will divide the nation for a generation, depressing for all of us irrespective of which side of the divide you're on.

And if we do Brexit, its just the start of the process:eek:

In the referendum Boris said it would be easy to get a deal. Last week i heard him blustering on that he would go to Brussels and get a deal.
Whilst I voted to remain I am happy to leave however, as said above we should have a deal. The referendum was a close result and i believe to leave with a deal is the only way to proceed to acurately reflect the result. As i heard one MP say last week the referendum was a mandate "to move house but stay within the neighbourhood" which I think is a good way to summarise matters.

The truth of the matter is that we all only voted on our gut feeling. No-one knew the implications of leaving and we still don't. Another referendum would be voted on in a similar manner. We should leave and give it a go it may be best thing that ever happened.
It would have been easy if the barstewards didn’t tie his hands behind his back

I’ve voted Conservative all my life. However, I cannot vote for them while they are led by a populist buffoon that thinks it OK to ignore the parliamentary democracy that is a cornerstone of our constitution.?

Neither could I ever bring myself to vote for Corbyn and his idealistic loons.

I would have voted Lib Dem (who are always contenders here), until they voted to halt Brexit without even going back to the public, showing themselves to have as much contempt for democracy as BoJo.

Monster Raving Loony it is then.

Boris is not ignoring democracy. He is doing what 17.4 million voters instructed the government to do. Its the likes of you with comments like that, who is against democracy.

Simple then . Boris go get a deal.

My view, based on what we here in press, (may well be wrong but is all we have to go off) is that Boris does not want a deal. He is saying we come out 31st no.matter and He will not ask for extension but will not brake the law.
The only way I can reconcile these statements is that he intends making no effort to negotiate in the hope he asks for extension which is refused.
Vote this morning may well have scuppered this idea though as EU has voted to extend deadline if need be.

I disagree personally (not trying to be rude here, just how I am seeing things pan out) , as a lot of his actions are basically telling Comrad C et al to feck off and stop muddying the waters further with their propaganda.

Why should he have had to go back 'Another Time' to beg for an extension, just so the remainders who lost the vote can sh!t stir some more. It's futile and damaging to our everyday lives but they have suddenly realised Boris has some balls and told them basically he will go without a deal, to which they are just as worried as we all are.
They are not doing us a favour, they know it will be damaging to them - in an economy that is seeing a lot of downturn.

No one truly knows what will happen with a no deal, but one thing is for certain, EU will suffer as well - so for me they need to wise the feck up and talk like adults about such a massive change.

For me, I just want it over one way or another now, face the realism of what it brings.
Try to build something out of whatever it is, rather than perpetuate this farce we call democracy any longer.

The sh!t stirrers should be disbanded from politics permanently for the damage they have all done to the country, the economy and the way the rest of the world now view us.

In 44 days?

Is this after he walks across the channel?

If Brexit doesn't become a success before the end of this year, Boris will share the blame along with Cameron & May and face the same consequences.

Why not, a deal negotiation, not a deal agreed, but I suppose there are some that still like all the financial chaos, social impact being caused by all the scaremongering.

If people would have let the outcome of the vote be, he simply needed to ask for an extension to renegotiate the sh!t show TM lay on the table (because let's face it, a remainer will jot push hard to negate a lot of the EU wants).

But hey ho, let's see what happens next, as politics and religion cause far too much negativity in the world for me unfortunately.
