It's political suicide to confiscate land (these days) so the easiest way to drive farmers off the land is to drive them slowly out business, in the name of social justice and environmentalism and God knows what else

I don't even enter into the argument anymore, the truth is really wasted on many people.

Work on your circle of control, that is to say work on your own business and let everyone else tear into each other - society is in turmoil - rise above it

Yep, The Wisp has quite a good forestry area over the back already. I think they will wind down the sheep and plant their way forward, been uneconomic to fly super on their hills for quite a few years. They will probably be tearing out regenerating bush to plant pines which shows the madness of it all
