This is just for a bit of fun and not for raising controversy please!!
Been thinking about this for a while now after spending hours driving and repairing various makes of tractors.....
If given the choice to build your ideal tractor from choosing components from various manufacturers, what would you choose?

My personal choice:

Engine: AGCO Power (Sisu)
Transmission: MF dyna6 (for power shift)
Fendt Vario ( for vario transmission)
Suspension: JCB fastrac
Cab: Claas/ but with a JD R series finish
Styling outside: new deutz-fahr
Colour: newholland dark blue
GPS : JD Greenstar
Tyres: Michelin

That’s just my personal thoughts at the moment . Please feel free to ad your own ideas (again this is just for fun please) ;)

Fendt quality paint. Zf front axle, fendt type with diff lock. Or better still Mb trac axles. Mb separate type gearbox easily removed for repair. Rear lift with loads of travel so can always get under balls but also easily lift up and clear the trailer pole. No more turning adjuster rods.. Double acting rear lift so can push down to release a frame. Very narrow bonnet so can see pallet forks and front links without moving head from side to side.

I'm sure the tractor master-bakers will all be along presently.

For a compact type tractor I'd go for something like a MF 6270-6290 with a SDF type front axle (brakes on the hubs and 50°+ of lock), but with a Claas cab and Case suspension.

For a bigger tractor I'd go for something similar to a JD8130 but with a Sisu diesel so it knew about fuel economy, or better still a Fendt enhanced model that actually used no fuel at all.
