Not that anyone would do such a thing on this thread: Is there aproduct to put on a tree when you've scurfed the bark off it? Honestly wasn't me. A neighbour had his hedges cut over the road and where he has hit the oak tree (350yr old est) it can be seen from my kitchen window and it's offending me. Not serious damage but I'd rather I didn't look at a fecked tree for the rest of my life!

OK lads & lasses, mate has just got a new McConnell 7070T with evo controls. We're a bit unsure if it's all there... The front and rear buttons on the joystick don't do anything (swap functions, stop rotor etc) and we're fairly sure only the lift, reach & maybe head angle are proportional. Slew/tele definitely bang-bang. He has the orbitor but can't imagine using it behind the tractor with the bang-bang slew. If relevant he has hydraulic roller as well. Should there be more functionality? Ta.

If you scroll along the top on the menu to the picture of a joystick you can set each button to do which ever function you want so try swapping them round or it might be that there just not assigned anything yet. As for the bang bang not proportional bit I did read somewhere you can switch between prop. And non prop. Control on those functions but I don't now how to do it. I have the same controls with an orbitor bracket and vfr and every function is proportional. Hope this helps abit.

Thanks, but this sounds like the screen on the revolution controls. His are evolution. If I've picked this up wrong, please correct. Little difficult when it is (my normal pet hate) "mate's machine".

Ahh my mistake sorry!! You could ring halse of honiton there's not much they won't be able to tell you about them.

This hedge took some straightening out, it's been cut for years by a pro who made a good job, anyway the farmer next door bought his own trimmer so did last year leaving a good 6 inch to a foot on it, he rang asking if I would do it as he hates hedgecutting! Anyway it took me a while to get the line back and the customer was very happy with the job but isn't happy with how much I want £ as it took so long and he got done so cheap last year! Ffs!
What that road like to work on fast busy hardly any cars ?
