Anyone know the reboot/calibration sequence?
Not that anyone would do such a thing on this thread: Is there aproduct to put on a tree when you've scurfed the bark off it? Honestly wasn't me. A neighbour had his hedges cut over the road and where he has hit the oak tree (350yr old est) it can be seen from my kitchen window and it's offending me. Not serious damage but I'd rather I didn't look at a fecked tree for the rest of my life!

Mud, that's what I used I mean my mate used at my old job if a tree got ring barked by a strimmer. Not that anyone would do such a thing on this thread: Is there aproduct to put on a tree when you've scurfed the bark off it? Looks goodAfter changing to a right hand cut machine I was starting to worry about newer type tractors and their control panels on the armrest versus the hedgecutters, as I would never go back to left hand cut. Found this video on face tube, has anyone come across similar set ups on other makes of newer type tractors?
OK lads & lasses, mate has just got a new McConnell 7070T with evo controls. We're a bit unsure if it's all there... The front and rear buttons on the joystick don't do anything (swap functions, stop rotor etc) and we're fairly sure only the lift, reach & maybe head angle are proportional. Slew/tele definitely bang-bang. He has the orbitor but can't imagine using it behind the tractor with the bang-bang slew. If relevant he has hydraulic roller as well. Should there be more functionality? Ta.
If you scroll along the top on the menu to the picture of a joystick
Thanks, but this sounds like the screen on the revolution controls. His are evolution. If I've picked this up wrong, please correct. Little difficult when it is (my normal pet hate) "mate's machine".
That's OK. Have had good service from Halse in the past, despite being at opposite end of the country, so will try them.Ahh my mistake sorry!! You could ring halse of honiton there's not much they won't be able to tell you about them.

This hedge took some straightening out, it's been cut for years by a pro who made a good job, anyway the farmer next door bought his own trimmer so did last year leaving a good 6 inch to a foot on it, he rang asking if I would do it as he hates hedgecutting! Anyway it took me a while to get the line back and the customer was very happy with the job but isn't happy with how much I want £ as it took so long and he got done so cheap last year! Ffs!
