Out of interest how much are them latches? ive got a brand new set never used i might sell. no brackets just the latches. never did receive the brackets for my old puma, mcconnell just couldnt get a set at the time to fit so i bought a linkage trimmer
Wouldn't like to say, I'd dare bet they be at least £1k a set if not more. I think they wanted £1300 just for a second set of axle brackets for my other tractor.

Too much time running about on all those salted roads all winter I'd say, that'll seize anything up solid!!

The brackets I got when I got my hedger in 2015 weren't entirely new, as McConnel sent dealer everything but these brackets, so they ended up being borrowed from someone else, who had a spare set, then he ended up with my new ones about 3 or 4 months later when McConnel finally sent the dealer them.

How do you like the protech saw? -what sort of size stuff have you tackled with it?
Love it! Scared the beejeepers out of me when I did the side window on its 1st outing, but don't think anything has hit the mesh the same since.

Still got the clearing up after to do but is refreshing bringing back hedges in one or two passes compared to a flail doing it in several and leaving it chewed or not being able to touch them at all. 10" plus but governed by the centre.

That was 30-40' of growth that could be taken down in one as I used gravity as I felled it all down below.

Terrible! And don't let anyone on here tell you the mf cab is good for hedgers unless you have forward reach!
Go cross eyed looking through curved glass, or stretch your neck like a giraffe to look through the door. Then the worst is the big flat mudguard you can't see over
