I have repeatedly explained that it is not about protecting the wearer. It is an altruistic act of protecting others from a potential infection of the wearer. I am amazed that this concept escapes so many people. You, obviously know and acknowledge this. Others are stubbornly oblivious.

Nobody has claimed it to be 100% but your own observation shows that droplets are diverted from being thrown forward and a very high proportion condenses on the wearer’s skin, or glasses very visibly, and mostly on the mask’s fabric.

Droplets go into the mask, smaller particles and aerosols go around the mask due to pressure differential.
They don't work, everyone knows this, they weren't invented in 2020 and they weren't used before because decades of research say they don't work

Or they may be covid positive and are wearing a mask as a courtesy to others. I would hope so. Re-infections and the occasional first time infection is commonplace here in the original South Wales.

That is what I assume, if they're wearing a mask they're positive. Most folk I know aren't testing, or vaxing or getting sick. but it seems that those that do one also do the other two. I'm still suffering with a little joint pain that started the week after my 2nd jab and got worse after my third one but it isn't much now.

Dollar amount from unknown company trying an email version of the phone “there has been an unauthorised payment from your credit card” scam, where the aim is for you to talk to them from where they will try to get your bank account or credit card details.
Not exactly sophisticated yet probably yields each responder a victim or three daily.
