Gentleman I have listed a story on www.yellowswirl.info regarding the 3000 mile protest drive across Canada in an 860 Massey Combine! 15 yrs ago by a British farmer Nick Parsons who emigrated out there in the early nineties, it might be of interest to some of you, although a few years ago still worthy of 're telling for sure!!
The longest journey part 1/2

I remember reading that in farmers weekly at the time

Good story that @jakeboy, read it on your website. Good on the bloke to raise awareness of struggling Canadian farmers and there plight, and to do it with a Canadian built machine !!
Enjoyed Cammeron's tales with his 760. Had a ride with Cammeron last year on the record breaking NH1090, nice lad.

Thank you Massey Man! About a year ago I started putting a few pages of photos together of our combines! And thought that was it but the stories keep rolling in!! And I've made many good friends in the process!!This story The longest Journey happened 15 years ago!!
I just couldn't imagine driving an 860 that distance non stop!!! Mostly on your own?? And in a Canadian winter.
As 2 more local farms near me come on the market this month! One a 5 generation family business, I often think where is the agricultural business heading? Apart from oblivion!! I don't know the answers but perhaps we need a Nick Parsons here and pretty dam quick!!
Regards jakeboy
