At least it seems slightly more realistic this year that some lots aren't selling and some just making the reserve. My biggest gripe with it last year was that everything sold made about 50% more than the sellers expectation. Then they stated that Mr farmer walks out with for eg £40k "profit" , no explanation that it might have cost him £39k (or even more) to get his stock to that stage. Hopefully they are going to show more of this with the man who bought store cattle last night (follow them through to finish with costs etc) so the public viewing realise we don't have it as easy as the first series made out.

Just sounds like someone who has a problem with life in general, or maybe needs to get one, Thainstone is trying it's best in the current economic climate, BBC are trying but could do better, good to young people taking up farming and giving it a go
