I don't think the Brexit campaign and Trump's campaign should be compared as they are in the same league, and probably not even the same sport.

The gargantuan difference being that Trump had a plan, Brexit was based on millions of different ideologies, few of which are happening.

Successful in that Trump got what he wanted. He had a plan and went for the kill. Of course he is using it to his utmost financial advantage, and is happy to do irreparable damage, but people think they are playing a blinder, and are happy.

When the people of the UK voted for Brexit the electorate were in a position such that if the main political parties morphed into Brexit parties they would be accepted.

Post the general election and 3 years of the Establishment undermining democracy.

We are now in a position where the electorate are going to put their stamp on the UK's future. It really comes down to the leaders who will triumph in a post Brexit world - if they chose to destroy the establishment there are a great number of people who are more than willing to help.
