There is a bizarre aspect to the Pfizer and other potential vaccines.A compete turnaround in political and environmental attitudes that has not been clearly stated.!!!
That is that the new vaccine is GENETICALLY MODIFIED " G M " Dreaded by every European

Are we on the cusp of accepting GM ??
I hope so because the GM lobby have for so long denied the scientific breakthrough that GM can enhance humanity.
My only reserve is that the new vaccine is put through the normal stringent safeguards with no short cuts .
Monsanto made short cuts with GM Soya and Maize. Became known for producing "Frankenstein" food. (They marketed a year to soon and left live ampicillin in the commercial product ! they were in a race with Novartis)

Newsflash- the European Union has been importing GM maize and GM soya and products derived thereof for 20 years. None of it was going into landfill.

All the Insulin supplied to Diabetics for a very long time is produced by a GM version Of the E coli bacterium. Never heard of any objections from the normal sources such as Greenpeace,etc.
