All wind and plss the EU , let's see if their bite is worse than their bark
What he forgets is IF the EU tear up the agreement in a tantrum they will have to put up a proper border in Ireland, no one wants that so they need to sit down and sort it out,

and if the EU do that, then the UK will be forced to put a land border in N.Ireland. which do you think the IRA will attack ?

So we have a choice, give in to a bunch of bullies or the IRA.
Given the right attitude it can be solved, after all its goods that need checking not people.pretty easy to spot the difference

the CTA is a vista free system that allows citizens from each country to move between each country with out seeking permission first. it also give access to each other countries health and school system. You still need to show valid ID if asked when crossing the border. Also the CTA only applies to British and Irish citizens, so anyone from a different country (and last i look both countries had plenty of those) would still have to go threw normal channels

Exactly, you need Id to cross the Irish sea to be able to prove you are Irish or british, that means a new lane in the uk for non uk/irish so that should keep everyone happy, the only issue might be a few crossing the north south border that shouldn't but that is the situation now. It can be sorted without too much trouble, of course some dont want solutions just problems

Exactly. Lizzie who couldn’t give away the Stilton, never mind coax the Japanese to buy it, in the trade deal which the Japanese got much the better outcome, also failed to take negotiations seriously with the EU, on the comprehensive package of solutions they have proposed to the outstanding issues.
