Fairly sure it was the UK that raised european standards . so a bit rich them swinging the lead now .Considering some of the crap that floats around some of their EU countries I'm pretty sure they can take it that the UK matches their standards

because in the year that were knew it was coming, Ewin poots , sat with his head up his ass and put in place no systems to help the people, hence why Groves had to take over to try and put something in place. in the mean time poots has been fighting to stop anything that would make it easierIt's far harder getting stuff in to NI than it is in to mainland europe , why's that I wonder .

It's an urban myth the UK would import hormone beef etc , people are fussy buggers here .so you be very happy then let any old crap into the UK even if it means destroying the local industry ?

It not UK crap they worried about. it the USA/AUS/mercous crap that could come in to the UK and then on to the EU via NI. If boris had just put in the Brexit bill that the UK would continued to enforce high standards and not let in any crap that doesn't meet UK standards then it would be a very easy fix. but he didn't

Got f**k all do with you paddywhack ,But, but, you take back control, give it to Etonian Billy Bunter types, they in their mad rush hurry to Rule Britannia Global Britain, sell the union with NI for the cause. Abled and abetted by the DUP.
Six months on, Billy and his mates still haven’t put in the IT and infrastructure to make the protocol work.
One of the many things the British are world leaders at, is the creation of really excellent TV and comedy shows are top of the list. Yes Minister, was in my view perhaps the best of all those wonderful shows. No matter how many times I watch a repeat, the laugh factor never decreases.
Now of course, there is no need whatsoever to go on YouTube to watch episodes from bygone years. We are all being treated to a continuous loop of Yes Minister hilarious bungling being played out in real life. I notice the NI viewers for some peculiar reason cannot see the joke. Must have a strange sense of humour, eh!!!
Ha!It would enhance UK product due to it's unparalleled exceptionality .
Go to france , they sell far more shite than we do .
Got fudge all do with you paddywhack ,
Choose better neighbours ,Ha!
Had some woman telling us at a party," foods so expensive here we fill the car at Iceland before we come. 40 frozen sausages for a pound"
FFS!
Wouldn't feed them to my dogs!
Not wishing to dampen your spirits and my history isn't sh!t hot , but didn't you lot wave the white feather when our lads were dying on the beaches ? and took one for the team in 2007 when the eu dumped a load of debt on your books .But it has Mick….. We neither got rolled over by Germans or self rolled over as predicted by the ERG et al. Now we are the difference between the Brexit envisioned by the ERG and the breakup of the UK as we know it. To crown it all, we have our man from Mayo in the Whitehouse.
The breakup of the UK is the inevitable outcome.

Correct me if I'm wrong .
At least you don't bear grudges ,Officially DeValera could not possibly be seen to send Irish men to join the British army or fight alongside it, because of the depth of feeling in this country after Black and Tan waves of war crimes barely twenty years previously. That in turn after the potato famine, where British policy was “let them die”! No sir, aligning officially with Britain was not a deliverable policy. What was delivered was a blind eye, to the thousands of Irishmen who went to Britain and joined up. My village graveyard has a memorial to those from the locality who died in service in WW1 and WW2. The list of men on the memorial in Glasnevin Cemetary, Dublin is amazing.
