The not started yet thread

Is it just me ? Facebook, Twitter and TFF full of combine pictures working in ideal conditions yet we are still a few days from starting OSR here - Monday most likely

Weather like this is testing patience - am I the only farmer in the uk not started yet ?

Did two days last week. Hopefully try again tomorrow.

Does walking thru the wheat pulling a few heads count as started?.
If not, no.
To the left is my neighbour cutting wheat for crimping, on the right was a very smart fellow that lead down as I got the camera out

was hoping to start wheat tomorrow but a few more heavy downpours this morning put paid to that idea! Hope Countryfile forecast is right and we have a warm dry spell on the way-my patience is wearing thin!

Have you ever thought of have a sticky topic for farming news . Things that arnt worth opening a topic on . Like our local mart closing. Just me passing time . missed my flight so I'm stick in the airport
