Some of you have grown soya beans with very mixed results to put it mildly.
In theory we should be working towards growing more high protein crops in the Uk to supply, the demand in the future.
That said is it possible to genetically modify high protein crops like Soya Beans, etc, etc so that they can be grown successfully (viably), in the Uk year in year out?
If so which organisations would finance the creation of genetically modified high protein combinable crops viable in the Uk?

Even simple herbicide resistance can make a big difference to viability. Take the example of soybeans in Romania, joined the EU, and they disappeared from cropping plans.
