I am about to start a production line both here and in europe. Zero hrs contracts gets round that caper. Old school, expected to be on parade 5 mins before shift, 5 mins late docked 15 mins pay, 10 mins late docked 30 mins, more than that sent home for the day with a written warning.
Any phone that lights up, rings or buzzes finds itself in a bucket of water. The effect is worth the replacement cost which of course means you supposedly send it away for repair for a couple of weeks then replace it second hand from the game shop. Deters any further infractions from the rest of the troops.
If you do not like my terms get a job with the civil service.
I was brought up in the day when a forty hour week was any two days you fancied.
When you hire a machine in by the day, its quite simple the more of the 24 hours you operate it the cheaper it is per unit value. I have spent weeks sleeping on the seat for a couple of hours at 2am and then going home for breakfast and a shower. That and milking 300 cows at 4:30 and again till 6:30 followed by checking them later gets you your 20 hour days. I ran three businesses and had sunday afternoons off occasionally. As long as you are getting money for value then it is ok. There is no point slogging your heart out for no reward, as in busy fools.Aye,right.
So modest, retiring yet hardworking and wise, why you're not a mortal you must be a godWhen you hire a machine in by the day, its quite simple the more of the 24 hours you operate it the cheaper it is per unit value. I have an internet business as well now and it runs 24: 7. Never ceased to be amazed by the steady business through the small hours although it does not need manned unless there is a warning.
Just a grafter and not afraid to be MD, tea maker and crap shoveller all rolled into one.So modest, retiring yet hardworking and wise, why you're not a mortal you must be a god
