From what I've heard from someone who used them down here is that they work well, but are a faff to put up and take down, so don't really suit subdividing paddocks or small lengths and they can run downhill. They are also apparently a bit brittle and the plastic clips that hold the legs onto the main body like to break. I guess in taller crops then you might find that the live legs would possibly earth a bit too much too?
I guess for mob grazing beef herds on big paddocks they would be excellent, but when you are trying to do accurate breaks then you would have to go and roll each one, and they wouldn't save much labour over a reel and posts. However, if you designed it around a central water trough and grazed it like slices of pizza they seem like they would be ideal.
When I scrape enough cash together I will probably get a kiwitech setup on my quad for low effort fencing heifers. I Might drag the tumblewheels out of the shed to have a go though.
