Depends on what you mean. Like to own it would be a Field Marshall. If it's got to be useful then it's a 956xl

Not that much difference between them two, neither of them have a splitter ;). Both a pig to start as well. Im bound to say that though, Classic Tractor mag are supposedly doing an article this year what will be involving my 1594 and a 956xl in a comparison test. Thats if the land ever dries up!

Don't know what the 1594 is like with the normal gearbox but I've used one with the hydra shift, interesting experience. Yes, an FM has got to be a difficult starter, but never herd of any problems with the 956 including my own. Will look forward to the classic tractor test.

this ones hydrashift, dont think i could go back to a synchro box now, i was always dubious about hydras for years and years, but once i had tried it, i was sold on the idea, its brilliant for hedgecutting, not so good for roadwork il admit, but thats why ive also got a synchro 1494

Not a tractor! But the best 360. A MF / Hanomag W350D... Best, because its mine!!

i used to drive a 3050, was nice enough but that single door didnt really do it for me, was better than the 6400 what replaced it though, i had to wait until i got my hands on the 6600 before i was truly happy
