The Vegan’s Argument

Dont vegetable and salad producers whatever there called shoot pigeons deer ect and throw slug pellets everywere ?
But that's OK because, well......because they say it is.

I'd keep an eye on some of the more popular ones on twitter and their knowledge of farming is pretty non existent and parroting US slogans and figures as if ALL agriculture is the same all over the world.

I had a few target my boxed lamb Facebook page in the spring.

Left 0 star reviews and comments claiming my stock were poorly cared for and could be seen dying in the fields, have visited the farm and saw stock ill cared fore etc.

On checking them out they were all in the states and members of Vegan activists groups.

When I pointed this out in replies they claimed I was the one lying and carried on laying into my reviews.

Trouble is Facebook won’t allow fake reviews to be removed.

I don't mind what anyone eats or doesn't but don't force my meat eating preferences on anyone. Some vegans seem intent on forcing their diet on the population. I'm sick of of hearing how meat eating is killing the planet. Only thing wrong with the planet is too many humans but no one is going to anything about that.

Evidently there is a few vegans protesting outside ABP at York. Suppose it's not to far for them to nip up to Kirkby Misperton to join the anti frackers ;)

Haven't been to York for 2 weeks. I'm sure I'm getting withdrawal symptoms and starting to waste away ;)

Macmillan cancer were there the other week. Bacon, black pudding and sausage etc on my plate and I was a tad concerned it may not be considered healthy

Doctor once asked me "how often do you eat meat, 2, 3 or more times?" Told him usually twice. "Oh, good Mr rascal that a week is quite acceptable".

"Err, no doc I was on about per day"

Funny you should say that. Used to have bacon and egg but changed to cereal or muesli or whatever with a banana. Now I'm told it's unhealthy and full of suger. Sure I put weight on since I switched. Can't be anything more healthy or natural than bacon and egg :) Mind, say that on twitter and I'd soon be shot down and called a murderer.

Now I'm not slimmer of the year and could do to lose some weight. But the odd occasion I go to town there is clearly something wrong with the nations diet. So much blubber waddling about stuffing their faces in cafés. Cafés and food establishments seem the only businesses on the increase. Over supply of food and suger in everything.

I know one or two vegetarians, well more two actually and all of them are slim and young ladies. Maybe something in this cutting meat out? Maybe if I cut meat out I'd lose weight but don't want to turn into a girl  Maybe I should just cut out the kit-kat chunky's
