The Vegan dilema

To help with the education about where food comes from we have created a graphic. So many people don't know how food is actually produced. PETA did a similar exercise a few years ago to make meat eaters think more about what they eat. This is based around it being (nearly) impossible to eat anything without some creatures giving up their lives. Be that a cow or a worm.

Kevin Costner in Yellowstone Said this:

Ever plough a field...to plant the quinoa or sorghum or whatever the hell it is you eat? You kill everything on the ground and under it, you kill every snake every frog, mouse, mole, worm, you kill them all. So I guess the only real question is how cute does an animal have to be before you care if it dies to feed ya?

If you circle everything then what is left to eat?

Trouble us when I’ve tried this tack is that they will bend a little and say they have to accept the consequential involuntary accidental loss of some animals to feed their diet.

I then point out it’s not involuntary, how about the millions of rabbits, deer, rooks, pigeons killed each year deliberately to protect the crops they want to eat.

They just say stop shooting them. Accept the loss.

They have twisted logic to suit their beliefs.

The other response is that at least these creatures are living wild and free. So it is OK to kill wild animals which are natural, but not the farmed animals they don't want here in the first place.

Same with Almond milk, the attrition rate of bees used to pollinate the orchards is terrible. I have hear it like "bees going over the top in the first world war"
