What is the conclusion?
Does anybody really think that our "Special, Western kind of democracy" will reign supreme, anymore than it has done in any other theatre that the west has got involved in, in the past?
If so. When and how is this going to happen?

A pickaxe handle is much more environmentally friendly ,bullets are single use only. I wouldn’t bother with a pit either. Just leave him at the side of the road and the dogs can eat him rather than pee on him.

Nah, just make him wear novichok underpants!

My concern isn't so much what will happen to Putin after the war, or how the conflict will end. My fear is that the second it is all over, Germany and co will go scrambling back, dealing with the fudgers and buying their cheap gas. Any politician even considering going back on their principles after all this should be made to walk over all those bodies that lie in Ukraine so they don't forget their lesson. No more dealing with Russia ever again until the regime is changed and sorts itself out.

I think while we all fantasize about ways of dismembering Putin. We do need an orderly way of replacing him or even leaving him just as a figurehead. The thought of Russia in total meltdown with hordes of gangsters, warlords and oligarchs all vying for power, whilst sitting with the world's biggest nuclear arsenal is even more scary.
