Freeze all russian money and seize all russian assets in the UK, and if the people can't prove the money used to buy them didn't come from Russia, sell them off to help Ukrainian. There already is in the 'separatist' regions. As for the rest, it all depends on Ukrainian resolve and Western solidarity with them. I can't help thinking that we - NATO etc. - must put a no-fly zone over Ukraine west of the Dnieper, it seems such an obvious thing to do.

I am not a techy and don't have social media accounts, but ask any who can to start a 'trend' calling for such a no-fly zone to be brought in.

Many might question that, saying it's not our business, it's so far away etc. etc., but they need to have a think... Ukraine is only two countries away from us. A retired Russian general has openly called for the re-taking of other former USSR states, in the Baltic, Romania, Hungary - this fellow wouldn't have been speaking without the regime's knowledge.

FFS Belarus has joined in now... heading for Kiev with the Russians.

The Ukrainian's will be well aware of what subjugation by Russia involves, they have been there before. Mostly death, labour camps and relocation to Siberia. not a lot to look forward to.

The war was lost before it even started, I think death Labour camps & relocation could equally apply to our great trading chums in China which we seem quite happy to carry on with, I have a feeling your average Ukrainian would far prefer it if the West minded it's own damm business!

Why are you promoting Russian lies? The Ukrainian government was democratically elected - it's one of the things Putin hates about them. Do you also agree with Russian claims of genocide, and that the Ukrainian President is a nazi? (him a Jew as well) I wonder...

I ask because you seem so detached from the reality of the situation, and so determined not to do other than write in support of what Putin does, that it leaves only three rational conclusions: 1) You are daft enough to actually believe Russian propaganda; 2) You are a sort of 'plant' by Putin or his friends on / in Western media; 3) You like to write unpleasant things for the sake of it.

Sorry but just who is it that's detached from reality, you really believe a relatively small country like Ukraine could stand up to the might of the Russian military without the West's involvement, you & others seem to live in a fairy tale world where just because you think or wish something it will happen!

Listen I hate the Russian leadership as much as the next man & there is nothing I would like better than to see all these Russian soldiers going home in body bags but that is never going to happen, far too many dreamers have lost touch with reality!!!
