The war in Ukraine...

This guy has BREAKING on nearly every tweet :ROFLMAO:

That aside, I see no reason to believe anything russia says. Criminals and politicians should be judged the same way, on their actions. russia is well known for not having a word, shelling refugee columns , illegally invading neighbours, making up all kinds of nonsense.

Also, iirc the "lead" negotiator for russia wrote some book about russia's greatness, not a real player at all imo.

When I hear that Ukraine wants security guarantees from Russia, I have an urge to shout at the tele.
Russia signed giving them just those guarantees when they gave up their nuclear weapons, and recently proven to be worth no more than the paper they were written on.
How can anyone trust them again, on anything?😡

Same as. Though I think the Budapest memorandum were more assurances than legal guarantees, I could be wrong. russia itself I believe demands to be one of the guarantors of Ukraines security. To my mind that would officially allow them intervene at some point in the future against another make believe nazification or martian invasion

“Our defenders will defend to the last bullet,” he said. “But people are dying without water and food, and I think in the next several days we will count hundreds and thousands of deaths.”

We've done condemning; today we've done name calling - what we doing next?

By the time Vlad is finished his Ukrainian misadventure, Bosnia Herzegovina, might well be in a position to execute a reverse takeover. 😋
I'm surprised that the North Eastern European and Scandinavian non NATO countries forces haven't lined up their forces on the Russian borders yet, ready to invade and liberate.

There has been a considerable increase in readiness. A new umbrella organisation for Finnish women outside the armed forces is being organised and will supply HGV drivers power engineers and communication specialist services. All Finnish healthcare staff received emergency training as part of basic coursework. Full support infrastructure is to be built for 64 F35 aircraft. On the politics front this week's threat from Russia about the Russian minority in Finland has 1 horrified Finnish ethnic Russians (no more than a few thousand in total). 2 Considerably increased the urgency in NATO accession plans.

Pan Vasyl, 55 yo. The loss of both legs didn't prevent him from joining the army to defend our country from russian invaders. Undefeatable!

"Yeah, even though I disagree with what Putin is doing I'm more concerned about what could happen to us, rather than what he is doing to them. Maybe I'll feel differently when we get up to 5 million people displaced."
