Well well, his daughter is Putins Goddaughter, so has this whole war been about getting family/ mates in power? Creating a family legacy?

Bizarrely, in an attempt to discourage Finland from joining NATO, and following on from threats, Russia has infringed Finnish airspace, attacked its internet and, now, is moving heavy arms towards it.

And so, on to Sweden... the oldest girl of a fellow down the valley lives there, she's told him that all of her friends see NATO membership as 'essential'. It seems to me that if the younger generation are wholeheartedly for it, the media momentum will probably gather at a hell of a rate - even more so if Finland joins.

Horrible thread title to start, ridiculous really, totally unnecessary; but Putin has done it... it seems crazy.

I think we - Nato / the West / Democracies - should arm and finance Ukraine. I think we should have a zero tolerance of infringement of NATO airspace and territory.

And I think we should do more, such as operate a no fly zone West of the Dnieper, but that seems very unlikely.

Other threads have shown there are some who think we should do nothing, what do you think we should do...?

Hi Peter, could you tell us how the special operation is going? We only get very limited news coverage here & only shows the Russian army taking a absolute battering.
