Obvs Brian!
I'm trying to cut you some slack here, don't ruin this man...
Really appreciate your effort but it would seem I’m very much in a minority, believe it or not I’m not pro Russia at all it’s just having been told things from a very trusted source that all is not quite as we are being told I try not to get carried away with the gung hole everything is straight forward & will work out well once Russia is defeated that we are constantly being told.
As for pictures of tractors I put one up couple of weeks ago with our Fendt pulling a slitter over grass fields whilst wondering if it was worthwhile especially with so little rain here in Devon until yesterday.
Shearing is now finished & Scotch Blackface back on the moor today.
Russia shouldn’t invade any country but we haven’t exactly been a shining example to that have we?

If that were the case I think all his neigbouring farmers would have towed them away by now.

Seriously though, Brian is entitled to his point of view. Whether you agree with him or not, he is allowed and can express his views without any recriminations.
Sadly this is not the case in many parts of the world...
I quite agree but I doubt he'd get very far in Russia or China.

I'm sure he'll carry on regardless and strangely seems to have endless time to spend on here but when he slips up his default excuse is " a busy night calving" 😁🤫

Good luck to you but if you're genuine then a deluded fool, I think a fortnight or even a few days in Ukraine would soon sort your brain out who the victims are and who the aggressor is.

Most decent people on here understand that, a few are somehow taken in with Putin's lies.

Russia could stop everything tomorrow !!!

Great you have an imaginary invisible friend that's keeping you up to date with secret "facts" past wrongs by the West doesn't make a perfect excuse for Russia, as hard as your trying to make that excuse.

Your welcome to meet me in Turriff if you doubt me, I've been around for ever long before TFF even existed, back in the Farmers Weekly forum days then BFF 👍

This comment about us being able to vote a government out if we don’t like the fact we have killed tens of thousands of innocents in a country in an illegal war is comedy gold it’s been mention on here more than once . 😂😂

Yes, but we also voted them in, in the first place.

At least we get the chance to correct a mistake, unlike many countries.

Germany had to pay to rebuild countries in the past. Was it from WW1 that they have just finished paying for in the last few years? That was part of the surrender deal so slightly different but I would think they will have to contribute if they want to trade as they did before.
I think Germany was let off the hook at the 1952 London Agreement. We (UK) paid everything back to the US, making the final payment quite recently.

Russia won’t be paying any reparations unless the whole nation is defeated which, quite rightly, isn’t going to happen.
I believe they should be pushed back to the border, including from Crimea, but to take the battle into Russia itself will mean facing the same resistance as Ukraine are demonstrating in defending their homeland.

As for not trading with the western world again, it will take time, but a change of leadership (whenever that comes) and diplomacy, will mean money talks within a couple of decades.

I sincerely hope that a lesson has been learnt though, and the West’s guard isn’t dropped again. Russian actions today aren’t anything new, they are just demonstrating how they have always been and thought. The West’s mistake was allowing themselves to be convinced that Russia had changed, and thought the same way as those in the West.

You won't be surprised to know I don't quite agree with your assessment, just a few short weeks ago we were being told Russia were intent on crossing pretty much every border of Eastern Europe, now it seems they are having trouble crossing even a small river successfully.
We are led to believe they are all scary bogeymen intent on ruling Europe which as we have seen with one small army stopping them in their tracks was always pretty much bullsh!t whatever Putin might pretend to the world.
They have been had by the US hawks whose so called plans have now gone seriously awry putting the West & Putin into a war that neither side can now afford to loose!

It's not just our lot who believed it, though. The Russians themselves believed their own propaganda even more than we did and thought they were stronger than they really were. Had our folks got it the other way round and underestimated them, we could really be in trouble.
