Reminds me of a friends uncle who went to Wrexham footie a few yrs ago !
He ordered his match tickets and picked them up from the office . The new ticketing system produced a ticket sized receipt printed on the same material as the tickets themselves , (for ease I suppose )so as he thumbed the tickets in the envelope he thought he had 3 not 2 ,as he had ordered !
So not wanting to waste it he approached a chap getting into the ticket queue and asked him if he wanted it at a knock down price ?
Ten quid and he gave the old guy the ticket/receipt !! Jobs a guddun !

Only a day or 2 later on the fans forum ,questions over who was this bar steward that sold my Dad a receipt for ten quid at the game on Saturday?? They had his name off the receipt so it was highly embarrasing !! :ROFLMAO:

I had to reply telling the lad the guy had made a genuine mistake and he repaid the lad with a bit of interest and many apologies (I dont think he dared go fro a few weeks after !!!):)
He’d be doing him a favour if he couldn’t get into a Wrexham game ?

We'll I've bought myself a heifer calf, with my own money, rather than wasting money buying crap as I usually do.

My Mrs is always dead proud when she's been buying calf's,

Turns out when I buy one it's too expensive, we've nowhere to keep it (all sheds are empty) it's the wrong type, wrong colour and the wrong decision.

I think I'll call her Daisy.
Or Miss Steak.

I once parked the old T20 scraper tractor on the yard and took the sump plug out to drain it . Nice and hot leave it till later in the day to refill(let it all run away all that black oil )
NO , I didnt go and start it , but went to oil drum filled the gallon jug and poured the oil in , out with stick and see if its touching the very bottom (after a jug it nearly does )
Nope , nothing , looked over the top of the tank and there was a lovely pool of fresh oil on the yard as I hadnt put the sump plug in !!! Doh :X3:
I did this once in front of a customer. He soon pointed it out to me. I told him i always do it to flush out any impurities[emoji6][emoji6]. He went away happy[emoji23][emoji23]

Heating oil tank split yesterday - only 12 years old. Big crack half way down and it was nearly full. So full panic mode, running about shouting, trying various ways to bung it up, but nothing worked. So I disconnected it, hefted it up on the tele and set it to drain into the other tank, which had plenty of spare capacity. A short length of 3" plastic downpipe tightly wedged between the outlet of the broken tank and the filler of the other took the flow nicely. So went off to do other stuff. Back to check it later to find oil gushing out all over the place and my downpipe on the ground. As the tank emptied, the weight came off the tele, so it gradually went up until the downpipe fell away...

Nice. Was it the wheel-less trailer that made the hole, or the hole that made the trailer wheel-less?
the first hole made the trailer wheel less , which in turn made the second hole :banghead:

fortunately it is only used to move water 200 yds to the veg patch and, it cost me exactly what it is worth !
