The WHO inspectors are now in China. What are the odds on the getting meaningful findings?

My next question is "Do the Chinese have a genuine interest in preventing further pandemics?"

I guess it will be a waste of time. Anyone with something to tell will have been whisked away a long time ago. IMO it was probably a poor or lazy procedure at some biolab or other but this could still link it to the wet market.

I think you are being generous or forgiving. I agree that nothing useful will emerge and whether there is deliberate malice or rank carelessness involved we will never know. What is more important is my follow up " do the Chinese have a genuine interest in preventing further pandemics?"
