I had an old boss once, He was the County Secretary of Lincolnshire NFU. He believed and I still do, that we should have more farmers and people that understand farming in all levels of Government.
The trouble is time! After an unfortunate accident with a local county councillor and a Friesian Bull, my father took a County Council Seat for 3 years. This was so the Coucillor's widow could get things in order and take her deceased husbands seat. This might be a bit off topic but why don't those that can join such as the aforementioned party and influence things from the inside!

80% of people voted for a Leave party in the general election.

Now we know who the enemy of the electorate is .. we can get rid of them perminantly.

Time for the electorate to get rid of the Anti Democrats.

People voted tactically to unseat pro Brexit MP's and vice versa in some instances. What Labour actually said was:-

"Labour respects the result of the referendum, and Britain is leaving the EU. But we will not support any Tory deal that would do lasting damage to jobs, rights and living standards".

Respects, this doesn't mean supports. And the remainder has to have reference to any idiotic no deal scenario the EGR wish to inflict on the country..

For the dictator, and pretty much nobody else. Ask the Iraqis under Saddam, the Syrians under Assad or the Libyans under Gadaffi

So what makes the right person. Hitler or Stalin are undoubtedly the model dictators of the 20th century. Therefore you see a post Brexit world ruled by a similar iron willed person.
ever thought that they were not the right people for the job ?

do you think TM is the right person for the job ?
or trumperty trump ?
do you think there is nobody better in the UK or USA to do the jobs they are doing ?

I would like to think that the UK and EU people's in general, would never let such vile individuals ever gain control again.
I'd be in the front rank to get a bead on Nige, or any other, were they to get anywhere near such power.

I agree.

But how is this going to happen with decades of weak politics supporting anyone other than the UK ?

I only see one solution .. a complete change to the current system .. with all current senior representatives losing their jobs on day 1. Possibly move Parliament away from London into the midlands .. somewhere in Wiltshire is probably central.
Wiltshire is anything but central:scratchhead:,but you could always build a new stone age parliament at Stonehenge(y)

Wiltshire? Seriously? Have you any clue about the Geography of this country?

Include NI, Scotland and Wales and the centre would be around Carlisle, geographically. Pick the right projection and then draw a line from Land’s End to John O Groats and the middle already has a parliament building - it’s pretty much Douglas on the Isle of Man. It’s never going to be Wiltshire though, regardless of how you slice up the cake.

Think of employment.
Move parliament between all capital cities every few weeks.

Two places claim to be the centre of Britain,Haltwhistle and Haydon Bridge just south of the Roman Wall, maybe 20 miles East of Carlisle. They are both fairly ordinary, one boasts a large disused paint factory which they cant find a use for.Probably could fit a parliament in there.

That’s only Great Britain, isn’t it? Let’s not make the mistake of ignoring the Irish problem again though ....
