Thieves monitoring social media to target farm machinery

If you walk down the street showing off your shiney gold watch or the latest mobile phone, expect to get mugged.
Well that's certainly cutting a few corners short. With the amount of fake watches going about it's highly unlikely that anyone will jump you for something that looks like gold but probably isn't. Only the hookers can identify a real (gold) Rolex from few feets away (i have first hand experience of that) and even that is rare. Atleast it needs to be one of the less popular models, which aren't copied that much.

Depends where in the world you are, but life is very cheap in some places. I was more aiming for the concept of, "advertise you have something of value then don't be surprised if you are targeted".

But here are a few quick examples:

Sadly making any points towards who usually robs us blind would be seen as racist towards a minority. Which is why I left faceache because you can’t call them pikeys or travellers and got a one week ban from one of the farming pages, obviously those sorts are watching and reporting 🖕

We've gypsies, but since it isn't "politically correct" to call them that, they're called "horse racers".
